Anne Paluck loves working as a college librarian, helping students, faculty and staff to enjoy and use the on-ground and online library. Some of her jobs include teaching information literacy classes, maintaining the popular book collection and the print journals, helping to create research guides, and helping at the front desk.

In 2004, Anne started a college bookclub and has enjoyed running it ever since.   Prior to starting here in 1996, she worked as a librarian in a hospital, a high school, an elementary school, an education resource center, and a public library.  She has a bachelor’s degree in English education from the University of Connecticut and a master’s degree in library science from Simmons College in Boston.

Anne lives in Hartford with her husband and enjoys taking advantage of local cultural activities like Jazz in the Park, Real Art Ways and Theaterworks.  She likes to travel with her husband and her two adventurous adult children, especially to countries they know and have lived in, like Rwanda, Honduras, and Peru.
