Throughout the course of her 27-year career, Professor Raymond has worked as a consultant, service representative and trainer for some of Connecticut’s largest and most competitive businesses. While at Southern New England Telephone (SNET), she implemented telecommunications systems for clients including the State of Connecticut, The Hartford, Lego, Kaman, Gerber Scientific, and Pratt & Whitney. During her tenure, she earned several awards and commendations for exceptional performance, and servicing various businesses nationwide.

She also created her own independent consultancy and developed successful business and marketing plans designed to grow and revitalize several Connecticut companies.

Exposure to different types of companies has given her a first-hand understanding of successful business practices. She applies this experience in her classroom by providing students a lively and relevant learning environment.
