Middlesex Community College Foundation, Inc. received a $2,000 donation from American Eagle Federal Credit Union. The money will be used to fund scholarships for deserving students attending the college.
Wilfredo Nieves, Ed. D., president of Middlesex Community College, expressed his appreciation to William Dokas, president & CEO of American Eagle Federal Credit Union for his organization’s commitment to providing much-needed scholarships to our students.
Dr. Nieves noted that in our increasingly competitive economy, 80 percent of workers in our fastest-growing jobs are required to have some advanced training beyond high school.
“This makes a college education more than just an opportunity—it makes it a necessity. It’s forward-thinking organizations like the American Eagle Federal Credit Union that are making this a reality and not just a dream for many of our students,” Dr. Nieves said.
