Monday in Chapman: Jerusalem Post’s Hoffman Speaks on Israel

Apr 29, 2010 – Middlesex Community College welcomes Gil Hoffman to its Middletown campus Monday for a lecture and discussion on Israel. Hoffman is the chief political correspondent for The Jerusalem Post.

Titled “Red States, Blue States and the Jewish State,” Hoffman’s talk will examine the Israeli view of the new administrations in Washington and Jerusalem and their impact on Israel’s future. The event is open to the public.

Hoffman contributes almost daily to The Jerusalem Post and has been featured on several major news networks. According to the Jewish National Fund website, Hoffman has interviewed every Israeli Prime Minister since Shimon Peres.

The talk is co-sponsored by the MxCC President’s Committee on Diversity, the Anti-Defamation League and the Jewish Federation Association of Connecticut. It takes place Monday, May 3 at 9:30 a.m. in Chapman Hall (Room 808D), located at 100 Training Hill Road in Middletown.
