Today the Career Development and Counseling Center hosted a career panel for students, the first of three career panels happening this month. This session’s panel focused on careers in allied health, engineering and technology. In this photo, Dr. Michelle Tipton (left), assistant professor and biotechnology program coordinator, discusses how her interests led her to the career she has today. She was joined by Kristen Fratamico, DVM (right) from Pieper-Olson Veterinary Hospital and Professors Donna Hylton, Ray Dennis, Lin Lin, and Judy Wallace (not pictured).

These panels give students an opportunity to learn about the career options in different fields of study. The next career panel will be held on Wednesday, April 9 at 12:30 in the student lounge and will feature jobs in math and science. On Monday, April 14, there will be a panel focusing on careers in communication, media and fine arts at 12:30 in the student lounge.
