Tad-LincolnYesterday, Tad Lincoln, professor of Economics and Political Science at MxCC, joined U.S. Congresswoman Elizabeth Esty (CT-5) and twenty other community members, including business owners, health care providers and nonprofit directors, for a roundtable discussion at Meriden’s City Hall Council Chambers. Esty held this discussion as a way to hear from community leaders in her district, as well as talk about what’s been going on in Washington with the budget processes.

“I was impressed with Congresswoman Esty’s understanding of the depth of the budget issues, and the short and long run economic tradeoffs involved,” said Lincoln, when reflecting on his time in the discussion.

Rep. Esty also spoke about the federal budget to Lincoln’s American Government class yesterday at the College’s Meriden Center.
