It’s not too late to register for fall classes at Middlesex Community College. Family obligations, work schedules, and other life situations can make it challenging to start college classes at the beginning of the semester. For those who are unable to begin classes this week, MxCC offers Late Start Classes that begin after the traditional first week of class.
MxCC offers more than 30 Late Start Classes with options at the Middletown campus, the Meriden Center, and Westbrook High School. Late Start Classes are comparable to their traditional course counterparts and cover the same amount of materials. MxCC is offering Late Start Classes in the areas of English, math, history, business, communications, new media, computer programming, criminal justice, music, digital arts, environmental science, graphic design, and more.
Students are encouraged to register for classes as soon as possible as availability is limited. Classes begin on various dates in September and October; some classes start Tuesday, September 2. Students can walk-in daily to enroll at MxCC and register for classes at one of our advising sites. Students can register at the Middletown campus, located at 100 Training Hill Road, or at the Meriden Center, located at 55 West Main Street in Meriden, Monday through Friday. For specific registration hours, visit mxcc.edu.
