Hello students! We’re going to do things slightly differently this semester regarding registration so sit back, relax awhile, and read carefully.

What we used to call “Advising Week” will now be called “Priority Registration.”  Priority registration for continuing students will run from April 8-April 19.  Students should look for an appointment sign-up sheet on your adviser’s door; you can use the sheet to set up a time to meet with your adviser.  Please take a moment to review the Fall 2013 course schedule by accessing MyCommNet under the Search for Courses option.  Online registration opens on April 8.

April 8-April 19 is for continuing students only!!  We are making YOU our priority, hence the term PRIORITY REGISTRATION. This is the ideal time to register for the courses you want and need, at the times you want them, with the instructor of your choice.

In-person registration starts on April 22.  All students—continuing, readmit, and new students—will be able to register at this time. If you’re an incoming student to MxCC, check out this link for more information on registration. New students can also sign up for an advising session here.

Your adviser’s name can be found on MyCommNet under Student Records – View Student Information.  Also, you may go to any of the following offices for your adviser’s name:  Records Office (Room 153-Founders Hall), Communication Center (Founders Hall), Snow Hall Faculty Office (Room 508), Wheaton Hall Faculty Office (Room 313) and the Welcome Center at the Meriden Campus.
