Middlesex Community College officially unveiled its new Center for New Media during a ribbon cutting ceremony held on campus on September 21, 2014. This 5,986 square foot Center, located in the lower level of Chapman Hall, includes a high-definition broadcast studio, a video control room, an audio and music recording control room, editing suites, a green room, a high-definition screening room, and three state-of the-art computer lab classrooms. The new facility also includes an FCC-approved radio station, WMDX 107.5 FM.
After the ribbon cutting, our guests enjoyed tours of the new facility and joined us for a reception in the production studio. We are so thankful for everyone who came out to celebrate the opening of the Center for New Media!!
