The annual Arts and Media Festival showcases projects produced by MxCC Humanities division students. In addition to the student film and multimedia projects screening, student art works are displayed throughout the Jean Burr Smith Library, Pegasus Gallery and the Niche. This exhibition allows each instructor to share the most accomplished examples of student skill, ingenuity and creative diversity with our campus and community.

Opening Reception: Friday, May 24, 6-9 pm
Film And Multimedia Project Screenings Begin At 6:00 pm
Exhibit runs from May 24 – September 7, 2013

Pegasus Gallery is located within the library on the first floor of Chapman Hall Library summer session hours are Monday – Thursday 8am-8pm, Friday 8am-4:30pm & Saturday 9am-2pm when classes are in session.

The Niche is located on the first floor of Founders Hall Hours: Mondays through Thursdays 8am-6pm, Fridays & Saturdays 8am-4pm when classes are in session.

About the Center

Middlesex Community College's Center for New Media is located in Middletown, CT.

The CNM offers innovative associate degrees in broadcast-cinema, graphic design, multimedia, and communication, as well as certificate programs in areas such as interactive entertainment, gaming, 3D animation, new media production, news and sports production, corporate media and web design.

We are a designated Center for Excellence in broadcast education and we prepare our students for jobs in the growing field of new media with a hands-on education.
