A film about the human and environmental costs of the clothing industry; part of an annual environmental film series in Middletown.

Mon. 4/18 Upper Lot Dropoffs 10:30 am – 2 pm
Tues. 4/19 Lower Lot Dropoffs 10:30 am – 2 pm
Wed. 4/20 Giveaway  10:30 am – 2 pm (set up begins at 9 am) Lawn between Snow/Wheaton
Bring stuff that you want to give away on Monday and/or Tuesday; then on Wednesday browse all the stuff and take what you need in exchange for donating canned goods for the Magic Food Bus

Polluted water and a lack of affordable, nutritious foods are issues that disproportionately affect poor and minority populations. Join the discussion. Bring canned goods to help stock our Magic Food bus!

“What the Waste?” Annual Waste Audit & Cleanup

Wed. 4/27 Noon – 3 pm Outside Founder’s Hall
Annual audit of trash and recycling collected from each building; and cleanup of trash around campus. Volunteers needed!

Presidential Orchard Tree Planting

Fri. 4/29 Arbor Day noon Between Chapman and lower parking lot
Add second red bud tree to President Anna’s orchard

Recycling Round Up!

Mon. 5/2 noon – 1 pm Student Lounge
Do you really know what and how to recycle properly? Middletown’s Recycling Coordinator Kim O’Rourke will talk about how to recycle in CT and answer all your questions about recycling.
