COURAGEOUS CONVERSATIONS

COURAGEOUS CONVERSATIONS
JANUARY 25, 2016
12p.m.-1p.m.
Periodical Room, Library, Chapman Hall
Theme:  “OPEN MIC…”

Last year about this time a group of us at Middlesex decided it was time we talked.  Events and activities around the globe, the nation, the state, the town, the campus affect us in big ways and small and sometimes it just helps to have a forum for guided reflection or courageous conversation.  Last year we took on some big topics – Selma, Ferguson, Remembrance of Civil Rights Marches, Bystander , Gender Politics,  Mental Illness … A lot has been happening lately and we have decided that January 2016 will be an open mic session – come share what is on your mind re: the world around you and help set the topics for the coming year…

Please join us and bring a friend. What a good way to start the year…being together, talking.

Courageous Conversations are sponsored by the Center for Civic Engagement.  For further information, please contact Judith Felton, Coordinator for the Center for Civic Engagement
