CtSings National Anthem Commemoration

Middlesex Community College cordially invites you to Middlesex Community College’s 200-Year Commemoration of Our National Anthem “The Star Spangled Banner” on Sunday, Sept. 14, 2014 in Chapman Hall. Student Art Exhibition in First Floor Library 3:00–5:30; Program 4:00–5:00 in Third Floor Room 808.

1. Greetings from MxCC

2. Historical Presentation on the Star Spangled Banner by Dr. Victor Triay

3. Personal Account of the Holocaust by Wilm Donath

4. Reading of Original Poems by students from Amy Calandro’s English Class at Westhill High School in Stamford, CT

5. Singing of the National Anthem led by Aja Wilson

6. K – 12 Art Exhibition in Library

There is also a musical performance in honor of Constitution Day on September 17.
