“A Place at the Table” Film Discussion

Interested in a Film Discussion Group?  Watch this film and come discuss it with other students who are passionate about high quality films on social issues. The first film that will be discussed is A Place at the Table. You can borrow it from the library, or watch it on Netflix or Amazon Prime and watch it in advance. Then come to the film discussion at the library on Wednesday, April 2 at 12:30 p.m. Bring your ideas, stories, and thoughts. Let’s put hunger on the table!

A Place At the Table is a documentary that investigates incidents of hunger experienced by millions of Americans, and proposed solutions to the problem.

Please note the following abbreviated college hours through 5/29:

The college will be completely closed all day on Friday 5/26, and Monday 5/29 in recognition of the Memorial Day holiday. All offices and services will resume on Tuesday, 5/30 with their normal hours (8 am - 4:30 pm).

The Meriden Center's last day open for the summer will be Thursday, 5/25. After that, all services should be done through the Middletown campus.
