Story Slam

You Are Invited to Compete in MxCC’s Story Slam

Monday, April 20, 2015, 12:30-1:20

Where:  Pavilion, Founder’s Hall

Bring a 5 minute Personal Story – Story theme:  What’s Your Story?

Refreshments!  Bring family and friends!

Two (2) finalists go to CT Storytelling Festival for:

Statewide Campus Slammer Finals on Friday, April 24, Connecticut College, New London

Participants also receive free passes to the Connecticut Storytelling Festival, April 24 and 25, featuring storytellers Synia Carroll, Matthew Dicks, Linda Goodman, David Novak, Leeny Del Seamonds and Carolyn Stearns

Interested slammers should come to a “Shaping Your Story” workshop on Tues., March 31, Snow 505, 12:30-1:50, and a “Delivering Your Story” workshop on Mon., April 13, 12:00-2:00, Chapman Hall, 808B.
