Middlesex Community College, Meriden Center Saturday Enrichment Academy

Do you have a high achieving 6th– 8th grade student? Try the MxCC Meriden Center Saturday Enrichment Academy.

MxCC’s Meriden Center offers advanced learning opportunities through the Saturday Enrichment Academy to high achieving middle school students. Each program runs for 3 hours, 9:00am-12:30pm on 5 Saturdays at the Meriden Center of Middlesex Community College at 55 West Main Street. Sessions are offered at various times of the year.

On each Saturday, every student receives a 3 hour enrichment session. Prospective instructors have a Master’s Degree in their field or a combination of education, skills, and experience that qualifies them to teach their proposed program. Over the course of the academy, students work to prepare a special project that is presented during the final session open house from 12-12:30. Families, college staff, and community leaders are highly encouraged to attend the open house. Students are given a certificate of achievement.
