Richard Blanco, inaugural poet and former creative writing professor at CCSU, is coming to Middlesex Wednesday, March 2, at 5 p.m., 808 A-D, Chapman Hall.  After the re-election of President Barack Obama, Blanco was chosen to serve as the fifth inaugural poet of the United States, following in the footsteps of such great writers as Robert Frost and Maya Angelou. NY Times bestselling novelist Andre Dubus III will come to Middlesex Wednesday, April 20, 808 B-D, Chapman Hall.  Dubus will give a reading/talk on his memoir Townie:  How Writing Saved Me from a Life of Violence, and he will lead a creative writing workshop following a book sale and signing.  The events are free and open to the public.
