(Aug. 9, 2022) Middletown, Conn. — Middlesex Community College will present Saturday “Enroll-in-a-Day” walk-in registration events on August 13 & 27 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., for new and continuing students to get help with admissions, advising, course registration, and financial aid for the fall semester.
Those who plan to attend can reserve a spot in advance and find information on what to bring at mxcc.edu/events/enroll-in-a-day. Prospective students who have not yet applied for admission are also encouraged to complete an application and placement form online prior to the event.
The extended deadline for PACT, Connecticut’s debt-free community college program, is August 15. Prospective students must complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form, apply to Middlesex, and register for the fall semester for priority consideration. Some of the college’s 70 associate degree and certificate programs include biochemistry, business, computer information technology, criminal justice, digital media production, health information technology, human services, manufacturing, ophthalmic design & dispensing, veterinary technology, as well as general studies and liberal arts. Among these are many programs that offer seamless transfer to bachelor’s degree programs at the Connecticut state universities and Charter Oak State College.

Middlesex is among 12 community colleges in Connecticut merging in 2023 to become CT State Community College, one of the largest community colleges in the country and largest in New England, dedicated to quality, access, and affordability. CT State students will be able to apply once and take classes at any campus.
