Middletown Arts Advocate

A member of the first graduating class of Middlesex Community College, Richard Kamins was a wine and liquor retailer (1971 to 2005) and has taught as an adjunct professor at Quinnipiac University while also serving the community as a Middletown Arts Advocate. Following Middlesex, he received a B.A. in English from University of Connecticut in 1974 and an M.A. in Liberal Sciences/Arts from Wesleyan University in 1993.

At Middlesex, Richard remembers meeting and learning from many fine educators and taking part in the college’s first dramatic production, Arsenic and Old Lace.
