Fine Arts A.A.

The Fine Arts Associate in Arts degree at MxCC provides a pathway for students who wish to major in art and transfer to one of the four-year state universities after graduation. In addition to the primary transfer function, this program also offers cultural enrichment for students who only earn the associate degree.

Arts Club & Workshops

MxCC supports an active Arts Club with field trips to The Met (NYC), the Museum of Fine Arts (Boston), the New Britain Museum of American Art, and the Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art (Hartford). Other activities include Paint Night and group projects. The art department also hosts art, meditation,
and sound-healing workshops several times a year.
