Lora Wymer is the secretary II in the Financial Aid Services Office at Middlesex, using her love and concern for people to offer the best customer support in every circumstance. She has been helping students apply for financial aid at the college since September 2006. Lora says her current job is the most challenging and rewarding position she has ever held, allowing her to apply the skills learned from her associate degree and word processing certificate, both earned from Middlesex.
During her time at the college, Lora received the Governor’s Service Award for providing quality customer service to the Connecticut community. She also earned a library technical assistant certificate from Capital Community College and is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in human resources from Charter Oak State College.
