Using STEM/STEAM Effectively in Early Childhood Education

This is a non-credit workshop on special issues in Early Childhood Education and Development. Emphasis will be on the strategies caregivers/teachers need to explore and implement STEM/STEAM for children’s learning in Early Childhood Education environments including their homes. This workshop will provide much needed knowledge and skills for teachers already in the field, teachers-in-training, parents and significant others in the lives of young children. Students enrolling in the program should have knowledge of child development and experience working with young children.

This workshop is offered in a hybrid format. Students attend classes on campus as the schedule designates and also participate in online learning via Blackboard.

PREREQUISITES: 1) Must be 18 years old. 2) HS Diploma or GED

Refund Policy

A full tuition refund can be made if you withdraw from your course at least one working day before the course start date. Once the course has started, refunds are only provided under special circumstances and require a written request to the Workforce Development  and Continuing Education Office. They are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. A refund is not guaranteed.
