Viewing Announcements

Your professor may use the Announcements tool regularly to post reminders, class activities, or class summaries.

1. At My Blackboard page, when a new announcement is posted, the Title of the announcement will be shown in two places: under your Course Title or My Announcements section. In default, you see the titles of the announcements posted in the past 7 days. The most recent announcement is listed at the top. Click on the Title of an announcement, you will see the details of the announcement and all announcements posted in the course.

2. If you would like to enter the course where the announcement was posted, click on My Blackboard tab. Click on the Course Title.

3. In your course, you can review the announcement again. Click on Announcements/Alerts link on Course Menu. In My Announcements, click on the Title of an announcement, you will see the details of the announcement and all announcements in the course.

4. If you are at a course when there are no new announcements posted in the past 7 days, you can use More Announcements to review all announcements posted in the course.
