The Concord Coalition Visits MxCC

Phil Smith, National Field Director of the Concord Coalition, will visit MxCC on Monday, April 18.

From 11 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. in Chapman 808 C&D, Phil will do a fun exercise with the group that highlights the tough choices our country faces dealing with the national debt.  It is designed for the general public.  All faculty, staff, students, and community members are welcomed.

The Concord Coalition is a respected non-partisan organization that advocates putting the national debt on a sustainable course to protect future generations.  They believe we have a moral obligation to leave the country better off for our grandchildren.  (Since its founding in 1992, the Concord Coalition has consistently maintained half its leadership from each of the two major political parties, and remains highly respected by both parties).
