Courageous Conversations Post-Election Listening Room

JOIN US FOR A SPECIAL “LISTENING ROOM” SESSION OF COURAGEOUS CONVERSATIONS

Before this week’s election, we planned to have some “space” and time to talk about this year’s political landscape.  2020 has been a year like none in our lifetimes.

On November 3, we cast ballots for U.S. President, members of the U.S. House of Representatives, and the Connecticut General Assembly.

What do the results mean for us as individuals, and for our nation?

This event is meant to be an informal, drop-in time for listening to each other respectfully and civilly.  We’ll be joined by Ashley and Lauren from the Listening Lounge.  See the attached framework that Courageous Conversations uses for all our events.

Please join us. All are welcome!

All students who participate in on-campus activities this fall are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. That means if you plan on attending class or extracurricular activities in-person, you must first get vaccinated.

You must fill out a self-attestation form before coming back to campus. This can be found by logging into your my.commnet portal.

The vaccines that are currently authorized in the United States are safe, highly effective, and critical to resuming normal operations at our campuses this fall. If you have not already done so, now is the time get vaccinated. With more infectious, more severe variants becoming more and more prevalent, getting your shot is the best way to protect yourself and your family.
