About the Lead Campus Administrator
Dr. Steven Minkler was appointed Lead Campus Administrator of Middlesex Community College in May 2017. He also serves as the college’s Dean of Academic Affairs, a post he has held since January 2012. In this dual role, he provides executive presence, academic leadership, vision, and direction for an institution with nearly 4,000 students enrolled in a variety of credit and non-credit programs; and with a main campus in Middletown, satellite location in Meriden, and online “virtual campus.”

Executive Assistant to the Academic Dean & Lead Campus Administrator
Corey Martell began working at MxCC in November of 2006 as a secretary in the College Information and Communication Center. One year later she was promoted to secretary 2 in the President’s Office. In 2008, Corey was appointed to Administrative Assistant in the President’s Office upon the retirement of the Executive Assistant at that time. In 2010 Corey was appointed interim Executive Assistant; and that appointment was made permanent in 2011. Prior to working at Middlesex Community College, Corey was the Executive Assistant to the VP of Finance for the Mohegan Tribal Gaming Authority at Mohegan Sun and worked for Jewett City Savings Bank. Corey has an Associate’s Degree in General Studies from Three Rivers Community College. In her spare time, Corey enjoys hiking and relaxing on the beach.
