Attend College Debt-Free With PACT

Beginning in the fall 2020 semester, qualified Connecticut residents can pursue a degree or certificate tuition and fee-free. The Pledge to Advance Connecticut (PACT) will support full-time students who are entering CT community colleges in the fall 2020 semester.

To qualify, students must:

  • Be a graduate of any Connecticut high school, GED, or home school program
  • Be a first-time college student
  • Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), and accept all available financial aid
  • Enroll and stay enrolled as a full-time student (12 credits per semester)
  • Participate in a degree or credit-bearing certificate program
  • Maintain satisfactory academic progress
