TECH TRAIL: TECHNOLOGY TRAINING FOR STUDENTS SCHEDULE

MxCC provides various technology resources to keep students connected to the college and provide online support in academic capacities. Distance Learning/Educational Technology will provide virtual training to MxCC students: Blackboard basic features, Blackboard Collaborate Ultra web conferencing, and Microsoft Teams.

Location: All training will be  done virtually via WebEx Technology.
The link to the online training will go live on this page 30 minutes before the start of the training session.  Please attempt to click on the access link 5 minutes before the session to get yourself ready.

PRIOR TO TRAINING, ALL ATTENDEES MUST GO TO http://supportcenter.ct.edu/Service/WebExForAttendees.asp to test and troubleshoot their computer and speakers, microphone, or personal headset with microphone.

All student MyCommNet/NetID password resets, please call 24/7 Help Desk at 860-723-0221.

Please attempt to click on the meeting link 5 minutes before the session start time to get yourself ready. After clicking on the access link, enter your official name and college email and then click on Join Meeting.

Kaltura is a streaming video feature available in Blackboard. After students recorded videos using their a video recorder or mobile devices, they can upload the videos to Kaltura and share with fellow students or submit the video assignments in Blackboard. Using Kaltura Personal Capture, students can record video presentations using PowerPoint or other files.
