ISABELLA: Hi everyone. My name is Isabella and I'm an English peer tutor here at the Academic Success Center. This is my third semester as a student at Middlesex Community College and my second semester as a student in MxCC's honors program. In addition to being a full-time student here at MxCC and working at the Academic Success Center, I am also a classroom assistant for one of professor Christine Ruggiero's English classes this semester. I owe the passion that I have for literature and writing to all of the amazing inspiring and encouraging English teachers that i have had throughout all of my years of school, including Professor Christine Ruggiero and Dr. Eva Jones, the two English teachers that I've had here at MxCC. As an English tutor, it is my pleasure to share the knowledge that I have acquired from all of my English teachers with you so that I can help you succeed in your own English classes. Whether you need help developing thesis statements, improving paragraph structure, pushing the analysis in your essays, proofreading, grammar, spelling, or anything like that, I would be happy to work with you. In addition, if you have an essay or writing assignment in another subject area, I would be happy to work with you on that as well. I work virtually for the Academic Success Center on Wednesdays from 4 to 8 p.m. via Microsoft Teams from here at my desk. If you would like to meet with me, you can make an appointment on the Academic Success Center's website or you can drop in to the Academic Success Center via Microsoft Teams during my hours at the ASC. I hope to meet with you soon and that I can help you with your writing assignments.
