Ways to access Blackboard Learn Tools, Pages, and Links

1. In your course, you will see two parts: Course Menu (left-column) and the Main Screen.
   
   
2. Depending on how your course is set up by your professor, the Course Menu shows the basic tools, pages, or links. In this example course, you see Welcome, Syllabus, Announcements, Course Content, Weekly Assignments, Discussions, Mail, Help, Web links, etc. You may hide or show the Course Menu by clicking on the gray arrow tab.
   
   
3. When you click on a link in the Course Menu, the Main Screen shows detailed information of the link. Once you are in your course, you should explore the links on the Course Menu or Main Screen to find out how your course is organized and where the tools are located.
   
   
4. At the top of the Main Screen, it shows you the navigation paths. For example, you click on Weekly Assignments and then click on Week 2 . The navigation path indicates the "links" leading to this page. To go back to a previously visited page, click on Weekly Assignments. You may click on Homepage to go back to your course entry page. The navigation paths give you a flexibility to easily visit different pages in your course.
   
   
5. To get familiar with your course organization, the best way is to explore links, pages, or tools. Remember if you ever get lost, just use the links in Course Menu or navigation paths to go back to the pages you have visited.

Tips

• At the upper right hand corner of the screen, there are links that you may need to use.
• Logout allows you to exit out of the Blackboard Learn site.
• Help leads you to the Technical Support Center with help contact information, Frequently Asked Questions, and Knowledge Base.
• My Places, you will see the list of courses you have registered and your profile.
• My Blackboard Learn tab brings you back to My Blackboard Learn page, the entry page of Blackboard Learn system.
