August 26, 2020 to December 15, 2020

Back to MxCC Distance Learning | ONLINE Courses | OLCR Courses | HYBRID Courses

For courses starting on August 26th, registered students may be able to view online course site with orientation, help information, and some course content on or after August 20th. Per professor, course content may not be viewble until the first day of the course. For late or early start courses, SEVEN days before the first day of the course, students are able to view the course site in Blackboard. We encourage you to go through step-by-step instruction and orientation prior to first day. The orientation ensures you to test your computer and learn the basics including course navigation, discussions (bulletin board), mail, assignments (assignment drop boxes), and online tests. However, unless instructed by your professor, please do not complete any course-related activities or print any documents before the first day of your class; all class information is considered in progress until the first day.

We will post course overview or a course syllabus for the current semester as soon as we receive the information from your professor. A majority of our online/hybrid courses run every semester or every other semester. If you would like to know more about an online/hybrid course before registration, you may go to the Online Classes page, choose a previous semester, and review the course syllabus. The course syllabi posted here are for your reference in making a decision on registering an online/hybrid course. The syllabi are subject to change and should NOT be used for completing the online/hybrid courses you have registered. You MUST log on to your online class in Blackboard for accessing course content and participating in your class activities. Contact MxCC bookstore for textbook information. There are special requirements for some online/hybrid courses. Please read the special requirements before registering an online/hybrid course.

For questions on the CONTENT of an online/hybrid class, contact the professor of the class.
