No-cost, walk-up vaccinations available to area residents
Connecticut’s COVID-19 vaccination vans are on the road and coming to Middlesex Community College, 100 Training Hill Road in Middletown, to provide no-cost, walk-up vaccinations to eligible individuals 12 years or older. The clinic is being held on September 14 from 1 to 6 p.m. in Chapman Hall, room 808.
The highly visible yellow vaccination vans are provided by the Connecticut Department of Public Health (DPH) and administered by Griffin Health. The shots are available without appointment. Please bring a health insurance card and photo ID if you have them, but it is not necessary to have health insurance or a state-issued ID—no one will be turned away for lack of insurance or ID.
Vaccination is the best protection against the COVID-19 virus, and that is why everyone 12 and older is strongly encouraged to receive the vaccine.
Choosing to get vaccinated is an additional powerful tool in our fight against the COVID-19 virus.
