MxCC Voted Best College by Record-Journal Readers

October 10, 2018 — Middlesex Community College was voted the BEST COLLEGE by the Meriden Record-Journal Readers’ Choice Awards, topping the other finalists, Quinnipiac University and Southern Connecticut State University, for the honor.

The 16th annual competition began in August, and the winners were announced during a red carpet event at the Aqua Turf in Southington on October 10, 2018. Accepting the award that evening were Interim CEO Steven Minkler, and staff members Kim Hogan, Corey Martell, Ricky Barrett, and Valerie Cooper. Read more about the event here.
