Please note that the name of this program has changed from Radiologic Technology to Radiography

Associate in Science Degree

The Radiography program prepares students for entry-level employment as radiologic technologists in hospitals and medical offices. It is offered as an academic program by CT State Middlesex in collaboration with Middlesex Hospital.  General education courses are held at the College, while those courses requiring specialized laboratories, equipment, and hands-on practical experience are held at Middlesex Healthcare system facilities.  The curriculum covers a 22-month period, including a 5-month internship (Jan-May).

Enrollment in the program is restricted by clinical facility capacity as per JRCERT accreditation guidelines. After this degree program is completed, students are eligible to take the following post-primary certification programs: Computed Tomography Post-Primary Certification, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), and Mammography Post-Primary Certification.

Pre requisites will be covered. This procedure is now in effect. Eligibility ceases once a student attempts 90 credits for a typical 60 credit program.
