Introduction to the Cannabis Industry

The cannabis industry is growing rapidly, creating an enormous demand for a well-trained workforce. You can be a part of this exciting industry by learning the skills and knowledge needed to help you thrive in a variety of roles. The Introduction to the Cannabis Industry course will provide students with a thorough and comprehensive background of the history, science, regulations, and business opportunities of the cannabis industry. The purpose of this course is to introduce students to the industry career tracks in cultivation, retail and compliance.

While this course does not provide job placement services, the content has been designed by industry professionals who understand the skills and knowledge needed to work in the cannabis industry and enhance marketability.

Developed and taught by cannabis industry leaders, the course will extensively cover the cannabis industry and provide students with information about new certifications that are being developed.

Refund Policy

A full tuition refund can be made if you withdraw from your course at least one working day before the course start date. Once the course has started, refunds are only provided under special circumstances and require a written request to the Workforce Development  and Continuing Education Office. They are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. A refund is not guaranteed.
