Google IT Support Certificate

Course Description

The Google IT Support Certificate is designed to prepare learners for roles in IT (information technology) support. Certificate graduates who also pass the CompTIA A+ certification exams will earn a dual credential from CompTIA and Google.

Upon completion of the Google IT Support Certificate, program graduates will:

  • Understand the core concepts of all IT Support jobs, including troubleshooting, customer service, networking, system administration, operating systems, and security.
  • Know how to assemble a computer, write effective support documentation, route paths and subnets, manage device software, and more.
  • Have worked with Linux, Cloud Computing, and Command-Line Interfaces.

This program is offered in collaboration with Manchester Community College.

Certification

Our Google IT Support Certificate prepares learners for in-demand jobs such as: Technical Support Specialist, Data Center Technician, IT Help Desk, IT Technician, IT Support Specialist, Computer Support Specialist, and IT Assistant

Prerequisites

None. No relevant experience required.

Required Supplies

Internet access and computer. (Note: Your local libraries as well as the library at Three Rivers offer free access to computers.) The instructor will contact students with further instructions one to three business days prior to class.

Refund Policy

A full tuition refund can be made if you withdraw from your course at least one working day before the course start date. Once the course has started, refunds are only provided under special circumstances and require a written request to the Workforce Development  and Continuing Education Office. They are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. A refund is not guaranteed.
