Intermediate Digital Photography

model being photographed outside under bridgeExpand your knowledge of digital photography skills by taking the Intermediate Digital Photography course. In this course, students gain an understanding of portable on-camera flash units and illumination. They learn precise and controlled focusing by understanding advanced depth of field and hyperfocal distance concepts and how to enhance photographs with digital imaging. Please bring to class a digital camera (with charged battery), the camera’s instruction booklet, a tripod (not absolutely necessary, but helpful), and photographs saved as JPGs on a flash drive.

Prerequisite: Digital Photography (Beginning) or equivalent, or if the student is already confident of basic photographic theory and how the camera’s major controls work.
