PTK Student Earns Leaders of Promise Scholar Award
MxCC student John Guillamon of Deep River has received the Leaders of Promise Scholarship, sponsored by the Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation. The award recognizes Phi Theta Kappa members who are selected based on outstanding academic achievement and demonstrated leadership potential. John plans to use the $1,000 scholarship to support his studies in electrical engineering.
Volunteerism and Fundraising
We congratulate Phi Theta Kappa members York Clement and Jacob Murphy who were recognized as part of the All-Connecticut Academic Team for their academic achievement, scholarship, and leadership. They received medallions that can be worn at graduation along with certificates, including one signed by Lieutenant Governor Susan Bysiewicz.
